(Boca Raton, Florida) — Revelex www.revelex.com, the leading technology company in the travel industry, announced today the further expansion of its presence in the United Kingdom with the addition of an office in Southampton that will focus exclusively on business development in the UK market. The new office will be led by sales representative and industry veteran Alice Jones. Already the dominant force in the travel technology industry in the U.S., Revelex has tasked Jones with spearheading all UK efforts for the company as it seeks to increase its dominance abroad.
An ideal leader for the new Southampton office, Jones has been in the U.S. travel industry for almost 20 years and has conducted frequent work with the UK market as well. She spent 10 years as a travel consultant and then eight years with Regent Seven Seas Cruises in International Sales and Business Analytics where she also worked with that company's UK office. Jones joined Revelex in October 2008 as a Cruise Business Analyst. She relocated to the UK in 2010 when she married an Englishman, providing the perfect opportunity for Revelex and Jones to pursue aggressive expansion plans in the UK market at an ideal time for the company.

In her new UK-focused role, Jones will develop new business projects as well as continue to analyze and scope enhancements to the Revelex offering. With cruise being one of the cornerstones of Revelex's business, Jones and her team will develop market strategies and identify new business markets in the UK based on current and future cruise sales. In addition to building the UK client base for Revelex, the Southampton office will also provide customer support for existing UK customers, and work closely with the U.S. team to create new products and design to suit the needs of both new and existing clients. Jones plans to develop UK sales territories, and will provide a Revelex presence at the many travel and cruise trade shows that take place each year in the UK.
